Travel is our passion!
In March 2016, we embarked on an Italian adventure including the Rick Steves' Heart of Italy Tour. Little did we know that our journey would cement our belief in the kindness of strangers and reaffirm Rick's Keep On Travelin' ethos! We began our travels in Rome with an amazing group of travelers on the Rick Steves' Heart of Italy Tour. We marveled at the vivacious life in Rome, were surprised by an unfortunate event, continued on to the ancient Etruscan village of Volterra, enjoyed a bike ride on the Renaissance-era walls of Lucca, spent some time in the quaint beach town of Levanto, hiked through the Cinque Terre, and were awe-struck with the artistic treasures of Florence. After parting from our tour group, we continued on to relive some old memories in San Gigmignano, enjoyed a festival of delectable foods in Bologna on our wedding anniversary, and basked in the magical city of Venice!

Why choose a Rick Steves' Tour?
Personally, we feel that Rick is a source for good! He makes travel approachable and helps reduce the anxiety of new travelers with his down-to-earth style and well-written guidebooks, audio tours, and television show. We found that the Heart of Italy Tour was a great mix of urban and rural experiences. Plus, it was a great value! We were able to see many sites in a very short amount of time. Interested?
